You are a Treasure to Us All

We have had a lot of support from friends and other networks for the past 9 months. Mrs Kamal and friends have sponsored school fees (primary and high school) for over 15 residents; the Rotaract Club of North Muthaiga volunteered time to cook and coordinate activities with the girls and donated 2 wheelchairs for our handicapped residents; the Lotus Healing group sponsored lunch in one of their weekend Reiki sessions; a friend from Total Kenya donated a complete 50kg cylinder with cooking gas and a music system; a family celebrated one of the residents birthdays in the shelter; friends from the Nairobi Synagogue donated clothes and introduced us to Amiran Kenya who donated 2 water tanks! We have had acute water problems in the past, these went a long way to ensuring that we provide basic needs like water and a loving, hygienic safe haven for over 50 girls during the August holiday and for the rest of their stay with us. While we might not include all of you here, we appreciate everyone who has supported us in one way or another. You are a treasure to us. We could not do what we do without your generosity.
